The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society | 1 Minute Review

‘Our Friday night book club became a refuge to us.
A private freedom to feel the world growing darker all around you, but you only need a candle to see new worlds unfold.’

Is it anything new? Not especially, but it is brilliantly brought from page to screen. Though it leaves some narratives hanging, Mike Newell’s latest is a delightful tale of community in the fallout of tragedy.  Click above and check out my full review of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which is now out on DVD!
